Aircraft model E-3 / E-8 AWACS / JSTAR
E-3 / E-8 AWACS / JSTAR 1/144 The AWACS E-3 is the most recognizable aircraft in operation today with the "radome" and unique fuselages that house advanced radar and electronic sensors.
The E-8 offers improved communication and command and control functions similar to, but more limited in scope than, the E-3 AWACS.
Based on the Boeing 707 airframe, the E-3 AWACS and the E-8 Joint Star provide command and control of the theater for US and Allied military forces around the world.
The new Minicraft kit includes parts to build the first AWACS E-3A with radar antenna, or the E-8 Joint Star.
The new Cartograf deco board offers 2 marking options representing the following aircraft: E-3A Sentry AWACS, 552nd AWCW, Tinker AFB, OK 1995 E-8C J-Star, 116th ACW, Georgia ANG, Robbins AFB, GA, 2004
Scale : 1:144
The 1:144 scale is mainly used for large aircraft models (airliners, bombers, etc.).
A plane in the 1:144 scale is 144 times smaller than the actual aircraft.
For example, if the plane is 60 m long, then the model will measure 1 foot and 5 inches / 41.66 cm in length (6000/144 = 41.66).

To build a plastic model airplane, you'll need a few things :
- a cutter or cutting pliers
- and model glue.
You can also paint the model with brushes(acrylic or enamel).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
An instruction manual is provided for you inside the box.
