KC-97L Tanker 1/144 Dimensions of the assembled model: 241 X 304 X 76 (62+ pieces) The KC-97 is the evolution of the Boeing B-29 bombers of the Second World War.
A complete overhaul of the B-29 as transport became first the XC-97, then YC-97 and finally the C / KC-97 in the late 1940s.
The KC-97 was adapted to transport fuel for in-flight refueling from the late 1940s.
The KC-97L served well in the 1960s with Air National Guard units This new KC-97L Minicraft kit features J-47 jet engines and a new transparent support to represent the “in flight” model.
The Cartograf decoration board represents 2 KC-97L planes which served the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard.

Scale : 1:144
The 1:144 scale is mainly used for large aircraft models (airliners, bombers, etc.).
A plane in the 1:144 scale is 144 times smaller than the actual aircraft.
For example, if the plane is 60 m long, then the model will measure 1 foot and 5 inches / 41.66 cm in length (6000/144 = 41.66).
