Model car Lotus Europa Special

The Lotus Europa was a remarkable light sports car produced between 1966 and 1972.
It was then at the cutting edge of technology with many equipment and technical innovations seen on competition cars of the time: ultra-low body, engine in position central and frame elements in fiberglass.
The final “Special” version was fitted with a 1.588cc four-cylinder “big valve” engine developing 126hp, a five-speed transmission and alloy rims.
This Lotus Europa Special kit is a reissue of Ref.24312 with various refinements.
• Kit to assemble in 1/24 scale.
Length: 168mm, width: 73mm.
• Shapes and dimensions of the ultra-low bodywork faithfully reproduced.
• Removable hood allowing to admire the engine on the finished model.
• New parts for the rear spoiler and optional RS Watanabe rims.
• One-piece die-cast Y-frame accommodates the double-wishbone front suspension, stabilizer bar,
rear knuckles and engine.

• Detailed sports interior with high-back seats, three-spoke steering wheel and short gear lever.
• New decals, new radiator grille (photo-cut) and seat belt stickers.
• Lotus logos, monograms and mirror mirrors reproduced by metal transfers.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).

You can also paint the model with brushes(acrylic or enamel).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
