Product description : Land Rover 109 LWB
The "Land Rover" is a milestone in the history of all-terrain vehicles. this vehicle was born immediately after the war, with the first prototypes made in 1947 to satisfy both civilian and military tasks. Inspired, even indirectly, by the American Jeep, it was characterized by 4x4 all-wheel drive and a robust and reliable structure capable of facing the most difficult terrains. The aluminum body was lightweight and more corrosion resistant. By 1971, when the Series III was introduced, more than a million units had already been produced and built for civil and military use, both in 88-inch "standard wheelbase"and in the 109-inch "long wheelbase" version, this
latter reproduced in the kit.
Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft. It allows a high level of detail. For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41). A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).

- a cutter or cutting pliers
- and model glue.
You can also paint the model with brushes(acrylic or enamel).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.

This product is typical of Italeri attention to detail which there is plenty of, sometimes the parts were over complicated which made them very fragile to handle and fix and in a few instances the part had become part of the spru which gave it's own challenges, overall a great kit with some minor issues *
