Toyota's first luxury car aimed at individuals, the Soarer debuted in February 1981. This 2-door hardtop coupe with a long nose, short wheelbase and inline 6-cylinder engine benefited from a suite of cutting-edge automotive technologies. Inheriting the same aerodynamic shape, the Soarer VR-Turbo appeared in June 1981 using a 145hp in-line 6-cylinder turbo engine. This car, both efficient and comfortable, is often recognized as one of the most prominent luxury cars of the 1980s. This reissue of ref.24019 from 1981 benefits from decals and an updated instruction manual. day.• Model to assemble scale 1/24.
