KH32015 - Plastic model aircraft T-28 Trojan
The T-28 Trojan is a training aircraft used by the United States Navy after 1949, later replaced by the T-34 Mentor. The T-28A Trojan, manufactured in 1950 by North American Aviation at the request of the US Air Force, was to replace the T-6 Harvard for training. This version was equipped with a 7-cylinder radial engine, an 800 hp Wright R-1300 Cyclone and a two-blade propeller.
The T-28C version, built for the US Navy, derived from the T-28B, with shortened propeller blades and a landing hook for training on aircraft carriers. In total, 266 examples of this version were built.
