Scale model of the legendary Mach 3 SR-71 Blackbird fast spy plane, which was developed for the CIA and was the world's first aircraft to be nearly invisible to radar. He holds many records to date, including all-time speed and altitude records.

The 1:48 scale is the queen size scale for model planes. Military models are also available in this scale. A model that is 1:48 scale is 48 times smaller than the real object. For example, a model airplane in the 1:48 scale measures 13 inches / 31.25 cm long if the real object is 15 m (1500 cm).

I was a little bit skeptical, but my order was fullfilled and the service was great. The 747-8F is very hard to find and I needed a model in order to model the last 747 every produced. Delivered and is already under construction. I would recommend 1001 Hobbies to anyone looking for models which are hard to find. *
