About the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Type 21:

The A6M2 Zero Type 21, produced by Mitsubishi, is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second World War. Known for its exceptional maneuverability, long range and speed, the Zero dominated the skies of the Pacific early in the war. Introduced in 1940, this aircraft played a crucial role in several air battles, including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Midway.

The Zero was designed to be light and agile, enabling it to outperform many Allied aircraft in close combat. However, its poor armor protection and lack of self-sealing tanks eventually revealed its weaknesses over time. Despite this, the Zero remains a legend of military aviation, symbolizing Japanese air power and ingenuity in fighter aircraft design.
