Product description : F-35C Lightning II
The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program aimed to develop a new all-weather fifth-generation multi-role combat aircraft capable of replacing the ground attack aircraft of the United States and NATO countries. The result was the single-seat Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Equipped with the latest technology, it is a stealth device with a characteristic trapezoidal wing. Designed to carry out air superiority, close air support and ground attack missions, it is available in three versions. The F-35A operates from conventional runways, the F-35B is designed for short takeoff and vertical landing while the F-35C is carried on aircraft carriers. The latter is distinguished by its folding wing tips to save space on board, a landing hook and a reinforced nose gear adapted to the catapults of US Navy aircraft carriers.
