The 1:72 scale is ideal for model planes, military models and figurines. This means that the model is 72 times smaller than the actual object. For example, a model 1:72 scale airplane measures8 inches / 20cm in length if the real object measures 14.4 m (1440 cm). The figurines in the 1:72 scale measure about 1 inch / 2.5cm high.

A. Anonymous This model came as something of a surprise when it arrived. I had bought one such model at a local toy and train fair, and it had one model in the box. I wanted another, and found the model available a 1001 models. You may imagine my surprise when it arrived and I found there were in fact two models in the box. It would therefore appear that there are two versions of this kit available, whether one is for a foreign market and the other for the domestic can only be suspected. I have not yet made this kit, it is the pipeline after a number of others, but looking at it, and the instructions it looks like it has the degree of accuracy without the unnecessary inclusion of what some call super detailing that is often completely invisible once a model is made. Overall, very happy with both the product and service buying from 1001 models. If you want one, (in actual fact 2) buy them from this distributor *
