What is a Slot Racing ?

 

Slot Racing" is a term used by model car enthusiasts to designate miniature car races on an electric circuit. It is a system of guidance by groove via a guide post. The racing circuit is made up of straight or curved rails to form turns and loops for example. It can also be made of launching ramps, towers, safety barriers or rails for track changes. The purpose of slot racing is to make car races between drivers. Two types of circuits can be offered: the analog circuit and the digital circuit.

The analog circuit is cheaper and more basic. The driving is done via electric stimuli sent to the rails.

As for the digital circuit, it is much more advanced. The digital signal that is sent to the tracks is coded with different destination addresses and each car has an address connected to the controller, which allows players to drive their cars on the same track.

This circuit uses the elements of the animated film Cars and features Flash McQueen and Jackson Storm for wild races. The box contains a complete piston cup (with 2 remote controlled cars and controllers), ideal for a gift for children aged 3 and over!
