The PanzererkampfwagenIV (Pz.Kpfw. IV) Sd Kfz 161, commonly known as the Panzer IV, was a medium tank developed by Nazi Germany in the late 1930s and used extensively during World War II.
Its ammunition inventory designation was Sd.Kfz.161.

Designed as an infantry support tank, the Panzer IV was not originally intended to engage enemy weaponry - that function was performed by the lighter Panzer III.

However, as the flaws in the pre-war doctrine became evident, and in the face of the Soviet T-34 tanks, the Panzer IV quickly assumed the role of combat tank from its increasingly obsolete cousin.

The most manufactured and deployed German tank of World War II, the Panzer IV served as the basis for many other combat vehicles, including the Sturmgeschütz IV tank destroyer, the Wirbel self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon, and the Brummbär self-propelled gun, among others.

For example, a car whose actual length is 4m will be 10 inches / 25 cm long in the 1:16 scale (400/16 = 25).
