Product description : Supermarine Seafire Mk.15 "FAA & RCN Service"
The Supermarine Seafire is a naval version of the Supermarine Spitfire that was adapted for use on aircraft carriers.Its basic concept was the same as that of the Hawker Sea Hurricane, a naval version of the Hawker Hurricane.
The name Seafire was derived from the abbreviation of the longer name 'Sea Spitfire'.
