The “Nuova 500” was produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975. A true icon on four wheels, it constitutes one of the symbols of “Made in Italy” and its unique design is famous throughout the world. The Turin manufacturer had a simple objective: to produce an affordable car for as many people as possible, but not only that. The car had to be easy to drive, also in the city, and have low operating and maintenance costs. The F version, the most produced, introduced in 1965, was the first with hinges at the front of the doors, in accordance with the new Highway Code regulations. The Fiat 500 F benefited from other technical and aesthetic innovations. It is still today the most “classic” of the 500 produced and it has remained in the hearts of many motorists.
