The S29C Tunnan was a converted J29B Tunnan fighter, fitted with five cameras that replaced the guns - so no armament was carried on this version.
It could be fitted with extra fuel tanks or ECM pods.The letter S is derived from the Swedish word Spaning, translating into reconnaissance.
A total of 76 aircraft were built from 1954 through 1956.
