Koichi Hirose is a key character in the fourth part of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", titled "Diamond is Unbreakable". He is a classmate of Josuke Higashikata, the protagonist of this part. Koichi becomes a central character as the plot progresses.
Koichi is a shy and somewhat reserved high school student living in Morioh. He is rather small in stature, which is often emphasized in the series. At the start of "Diamond is Unbreakable", Koichi is hit by the "Stand Arrow", which awakens his Stand, a physical manifestation of his fighting spirit.
