Rimuru Tempest, formerly known as Satoru Mikami, is the main character of the light novel, manga and anime series "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" ("Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken" in Japanese) , written by Fuse.
At the start of the series, Satoru Mikami is an average office worker in Tokyo. After an unexpected death in the real world, he is reincarnated in another fantasy world as a slime, a creature generally considered the weakest monster in fantasy role-playing games.
After his reincarnation, Satoru becomes Rimuru Tempest, which is far from an ordinary slime.
