Product description : Cromwell Mk IV
The “Cromwell” tank was developed during World War II for the British Army to replace the aging Crusader in the role of “Cruiser Tank”. The Cromwell was characterized by its very high maximum speed - more than 60 km/h, and its great maneuverability. However, its speed was often limited so as not to put too much strain on the mechanics, particularly its suspensions. This tank also had decent armor and good armament. The 75mm main gun installed in the turret was indeed quite effective against equivalent armored vehicles and could use the same ammunition as other Allied tanks such as the American Sherman. Additionally, the Cromwell played an effective close support role for the infantry. Military model kit - to be assembled and painted - Paint and glue to be bought separately
