What has changed on the V3?

• A new fiberglass engine cowling has been installed to improve aerodynamics and give the nose a more tapered profile.
• A new nose gear with a gas shock absorber is provided and improves ground handling on poor strips.
• A new main landing gear also improves taxiing on poorly prepared terrain and shows exceptional "anti-bounce" qualities on landing.
• A very strong but nevertheless lightweight carbon fiber wing key is now provided.
• A new decoration with new colors and new logos has been imagined.
• In addition, many improvements and details have been made to the airframe.

QUICK BUILD KIT (15-20 hours of assembly only!)

• Fuselage entirely built in Plywood-balsa structure and Oracover® fabric with factory-installed decoration. Wing key sleeve installed - Triangulation carried out at the factory. All captive nuts for fixing the landing gear, wings and stab are in place.
• Fiber engine cowling, painted.
• Smoked transparent PVC bubble finished and with fixing system installed.
• Painted fiberglass main landing gear. Special hyper-resistant, damped and steerable nose gear. Special steerability control with new "Servo-saver" system.
• Structured wings (2 parts) covered in Oracover® fabric. Ailerons and landing flaps finished with stick hinges installed to be glued. Decoration made at the factory. Shim pins installed. Aileron and flap servo plates prepared. Strings for passing the servo cables passed through the wing.
• Tubular carbon wing key.
• Structured empennages covered in Oracover® fabric with finished control surfaces, stick hinges installed, to be glued. Detachable rudders, captive nuts installed.
• Accessories (wheels, wheel axles, towing hook, fiberglass bell cranks, treated steel quick links, ball joints, screws, etc.).
• Illustrated step-by-step assembly instructions.

Additional information:

• The tricycle landing gear (particularly robust) was specially developed for this new aircraft. Perfectly damped, with an extra wide landing gear track and a maximum wheelbase between the nose gear and the main gear, it works wonders during the many takeoffs and landings that punctuate a day of towing.
• The ground clearance with a 22" diameter two-blade propeller is now around 90mm.
• The engine is mounted flat on a very sturdy aviation plywood firewall. The resonators thus pass perfectly under the fuselage.
• For aesthetics, a fiberglass engine cover (delivered painted) envelops the engine without sacrificing cooling, essential on this type of machine.
• The smoked canopy mounted on its bucket can be easily removed, thus revealing the entire top of the fuselage from the firewall to the towing hook (provided in the kit). Excellent for maintenance!
• The 2-part wings (carbon fiber key) are equipped with ailerons and powerful landing flaps allowing fast and precise returns to the ground.
• They have a 2.5° dihedral (per wing) which gives the BIDULE unmatched heading stability and ease in turning.
• The empennage is removable, the 2 drift servos are integrated into the thickness of the profile and are accessible through hatches.
• The drifts are also removable by 4 screws (with captive nuts).
• Thanks to the lightness of the cell, it can be powered with engines from 35cc for those who practice towing occasionally up to hyper-powerful 60cc engines for the pros!
• As mentioned previously, and although the Bidule was initially designed as a professional machine for the towing, as a recreational aircraft, its ability to perform smooth and flowing aerobatics will allow you to "have fun"!
• In addition, its low wing loading, its large and powerful flaps, its robust landing gear and its double rudder configuration allow this model to be used on short and rough fields, and even with strong crosswinds.
