The Älgaras church is the oldest medieval wooden church, located in the Västergötland region of Sweden.
This church is one of the only ones still existing with its interior richly decorated with paintings dating from the 18th century.
It also has elements of the beginning of the 13th century as its wooden bell, its baptismal font, etc ..
