Product description : SMS Emden Deluxe Edition
The SMS Emden was the most successful German cruiser in overseas waters and is one of the most famous warships of the Imperial Navy.She was the second vessel of the Dresden class.
Her operational area was predominantly in the waters of the Far East.
With the beginning of the First World War, she was sent to the Indian Ocean for independent trade warfare.
There she sank 23 enemy merchant ships and two warships within two months.
On 9 November 1914, she was defeated in a battle with the Australian cruiser Sydney near the Cocos Islands.
