Very happy! Did a great job of covering the etched brass so that the next coat of paint adhered well. Since it's clear, you can use with any color of top coat. It can be hard to tell where you've sprayed, but if you spray slowly and carefully so you get full coverage. I don't know why this product isn't more readily used and available!
A. Anonymous I already miss Tamiya Metal Primer. Excellent metal primer. Don't know why Tamiya chose to discontinue this product. Tamiya USA says that the replacement primer works for both plastic and metal. However, I have found that having one thing that does what it was specifically designed for well is better than one thing supposedly designed to do many things better. Usually, it just ain't so.
