The program A320 single-aisle 150 to 180 seats is officially launched on 2 March 1984 and made its first flight in February 1987, to be delivered in March 1988 with Air France, launch company.
To the success of the A320, Airbus launched, in November 1989, versions of which are from the A321, A319 and A318.
It is the first airliner to integrate FBW (Fly-By-Wire) Digital.
