You will discover a jewel of naval modeling which will allow you to spend pleasant moments and relive the era when these imposing boats crisscrossed the seas.Merchant navy boats disappeared in the aftermath of the war of independence fought by the American colonies of Spain. There remained only a few coastal sailing ships eager to re-establish navigation with the Antilles. The Royal Decree of Charles III reestablished trade with the colonies which remained loyal to Spain, the felucca San Juan “La Glorieuse” making the first voyage.
